For many years Jack went by two DJ names. DJ Fangz worked well for the darker music crowd (Gothic/Industrial) and DJJD for the corporate crowd (movie premiere parties, Oscars, Grammys, ect.) Managing the 'split' personalities became difficult as his popularity became more widespread, and the scope of events grew along with it, so the two names officially joined forces in 2007...with DJ Fangz assuming the title. Starting with a rock club in the early 90's (The Brothel) and working the underground gothic and industrial club circuit furiously on both coasts as well as New Orleans, he established a niche for himself by the late 90's. Residency at The Fang Club as well as Redrum, Industry, The Basement along with guest spots at Helter Skelter, Make Up, Cherry and various other one-offs cemented his name in the rock and alternative scenes in Los Angeles.

On the corporate side, he started working with the local party planning and wedding communities to DJ local functions that ranged from Bar/Batmitzvahs to residency at LA's world famous Fashion Week at Smash Box Studios. Parties that wanted an 'edgier' sound started relying on him to fill their needs and impress their clients. Some of the more well known events are the world famous Mirimax, Vanity Fair, Best Events, MGM and Sony Oscar parties as well as several Golden Globes, hundreds of movie premieres, fashion shows and famous celebrity weddings.

Building his own recording studio in the Hollywood Hills and producing albums has taken time away from his DJing but he can still be seen at large, worldwide events like the Endless Night Festival in New Orleans, The Labyrinth of Jareth Masquerade Ball in Hollywood, Hot Topic's manager meetings and various other special events. If you are looking for that darker, edgier sound to your event then you need to look no further than the original!
